Dreams of Basho - In the spring of 1689 the Japanese Zen poet Matsuo Basho set out on foot at the start of a 150 day journey to the north of Japan. This work explores some of Basho’s themes. In particular it focusses on the interaction between the physical and the spiritual experience of the human impacted landscape.
